Hello and welcome to Parson Cross CE Primary School
At Parson Cross CE Primary, our aim is to give every single child the self-belief, confidence and the opportunity to discover their own spark of genius’ We do this by ensuring the children are immersed in an friendly, nurturing and stimulating environment.
Visitors often comment that there is something very special about our school. It has a warm family ethos whilst encouraging high academic standards. We work hard to establish good links between home and school so that our children and families can flourish.
All of our children are known, valued and respected as individuals who leave our school ready for the next stage in their education with life skills which prepare them for their future. Our curriculum is exciting and innovative giving all pupils the opportunity to be successful, develop a wide range of skills including enterprise and, most importantly, enjoy their learning. We promote high standards whilst fostering creativity and imagination so encouraging children to be self-motivated learners.
Our staff are a very dedicated and caring group of professionals who work extremely hard each and every day to ensure that our children receive the very best education that we can offer.
Well-being is at the heart of all that we do. Our nurture groups, art therapy and mental health sessions all contribute to ensuring our children are happy and well supported.
As a church school we are particularly conscious of the need to create opportunities for our pupils to reflect, pray and worship together. As such each school day begins and ends with a prayer either in the classroom or as part of a whole school Assembly; in addition we regularly worship together at Christ Church.

New: Parent Forum
Dear Parents and Carers,
We are very pleased to invite you to be part of an exciting new initiative at our school. For some time, we have been exploring ways to involve parents more actively in school life and decision-making. To support this, we are launching a Parents Forum that will play an important role in reviewing current school practises and considering new ideas.
The Parents Forum will be a partnership between parents, carers, and the school community. It offers a great opportunity to share your thoughts, raise any concerns, and contribute suggestions to make school even better for our children.
Membership is open to all parents and carers of children currently attending the school, with the aim of having representation from every year group. We hope to have two parents or carers from each class (14 in total) join the forum. Meetings will take place at school at the end of the school day every half-term (six times per year) and will last about one hour. Childcare will be available for those who need it.
Attached is a letter with more details and a link to nominate yourself as a representative for your class. If we recieve more nominations than needed we will send out a confidential voting form.
We look forward to working together to make our school an even better place for our children.
Best wishes
Mrs Wright
